MIDDLETON–The Middleton Cross Plains Times-Tribune will host its second annual School Supply Drive in conjunction with Middleton Outreach Ministries (MOM). The donations will benefit the charitable organization’s Back to School program. Last year the program provided backpacks full of supplies to 666 children in the area.

“We know that many families struggle with the lengthy list of supplies their kids need for school each year. The Times-Tribune is excited to host this drive for the second year, and plans to continue it into the future,” said Times-TribuneEditor Michelle Phillips. “MOM provides aa outstanding service to the community, and we want to help them provide supplies for more students.”

The school supplies will be distributed to students in the Middleton-Cross Plains school district and can be dropped off at one of four locations: Middleton Outreach Ministries, 3502 Parmenter Street, Middleton; Middleton Cross Plains Area School District Central Office, 7106 South Ave., Middleton; the Middleton Chamber, 7427 Elmwood Avenue, Middleton; Rosemary Garfoot Public Library, 2107 Julius Street, Cross Plains; and our main office, News Publishing Company, 1126 Mills Street, Black Earth.

The deadline for donation is August 14, and MOM will distribute the items the following week.

If you don’t have time to purchase supplies, cash donations will also be accepted to purchase needed items. Checks should be made payable to Middleton Outreach Ministries.
