Clean & Green Middleton, the semi-annual re-use and recycling event sponsored by the City of Middleton Sustainability Committee, will be held again this Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
It will be at Nursery Drive and Deming Way in the Airport Road Business Park.
Area residents are encouraged to drop off clothing, household goods, eyeglasses, cell phones and durable medical equipment. They are also urged to bring new or gently used construction materials, cabinets, tools, hardware, electrical, plumbing, and general building supplies that can be reused, all to benefit local charities including St. Vincent de Paul and Habitat ReStore.
In addition, environmentally friendly recycling will be offered for CFL light bulbs, batteries, scrap metal, printer cartridges, and most electronics at no charge.
